The CWSL AquaPurge® system is an Advanced Oxidation Process which means that organic contamination is degraded, ultimately to water, carbon dioxide and inorganic salts much as happens naturally in the environment. CWSL has three patents pending for the use of advanced oxidation to treat produced water. Since AOP works on any organic contaminant, CWSL has identified other applications for the equipment.
